Here in Utah the snow is flying and we are fast approaching ski season. Hopefully this cold front will sit here a couple of days and give us a base. 4 of the last 5 years we have had over 500 inches of snow. Keep fingers crossed for another.Over the next few posts I am going to be outlining why a ski trip to Utah with Utah Mountain Shuttle is the BEST VALUE, MOST CONVENIENT, and HIGHEST SNOW QUALITY of any ski vacation in the United States.
Proximity
SLC International is less than 50 miles from 10 world-class ski resorts. This fact alone makes Utah hard to beat. Most other ski destinations are mulitple hours drive from the airport to skiing. In Utah, you can be skiing 75 miunutes after you land. (and if you bring your airline boarding pass to the mountain you can ski free that day!)
Snow Quality
Utah's "Greatest Snow on Earth" is not just a marketing gimmick. In Utah the air is dry. When conditions are right for "Lake Effect" snow, Utah's storms produce the lightest, dryest powder anywhere in the world.
Local Knowledge
Utah Mountain Shuttle is a local contact. Those that travel know, the way to get the most out of your destination, is to get the inside scoop from the locals. By leveraging local expertise you can make the most of your trip.
In the following posts I will expand on each of the points and how they combine to make a unforgetable ski vacation.
Stay tuned to the Utah Mountain Blog for updates on ski and riding conditions in Utah throughout the season.
